MARZOCCHI POMPE RELEASES PRELIMINARY CONSOLIDATED DATA 2023

• TOTAL CONSOLIDATED NET REVENUES AT EURO 49.8 MILLION, UP +2.6% VS. 2022, A RECORD FIGURE FOR THE GROUP HISTORY
• CONSOLIDATED NET FINANCIAL POSITION IMPROVING TO EURO 5.3 MLN AT THE END OF 2023, VS. EURO 8.3 MLN AS OF JUNE 30, 2023 AND EURO 7.8 MLN AT THE END OF 2022
• CONSOLIDATED REVENUES FOR THE SECOND HALF OF 2023, EURO 23.2 MLN, 1.3% HIGHER THAN THOSE FOR THE SECOND HALF OF 2022

Bologna, 25 January 2024 – The Board of Directors of Marzocchi Pompe S.p.A. (EGM:MARP), a leading company in the design, production and marketing of high-performance gear pumps and motors, meeting today under the chairmanship of Paolo Marzocchi, reviewed some preliminary consolidated figures for fiscal year 2023.

Consolidated Net Revenues stood at 49.8 million euros, up 2.6 percent from the 2022 figure of 48.5 million euros; this result represents the all-time high achieved by the Group.

Sales increase was driven by both the Core business segment (Euro 39.6 million, +1.6% over 2022), which accounts for 79.5% of total sales, and the Automotive segment (Euro 10.2 million, +6.3% over 2022).

The export share stood at 71.6 percent, unchanged from 2022, with the U.S. market accounting for 36 percent, confirming itself as the leading market geographically for Marzocchi Pompe.

Marzocchi Pompe's growth during 2023 did not negatively impact the Net Financial Position as of December 31, 2023, which instead decreased to 5.3 million euros, down 36.1% from the first half of 2023 (8.3 million euros) and 32.1% from 2022 (7.8 million euros).

Gabriele Bonfiglioli, CEO of Marzocchi Pompe, noted: "In 2023 we achieved positive commercial and financial results: we are satisfied, considering that for Marzocchi Pompe this is the second consecutive year of historical record revenues, all the more so as they were obtained in a particularly complex international geopolitical and market context.

The reduction in net financial debt deserves to be highlighted, confirming our Group's capability to generate cash, while continuing to invest to improve our production capacity and, at the same time, operational efficiency.

These results are the outcome of Marzocchi distinctive factors: a 'make' approach, innovative and high-tech products, great production flexibility and attention to customer satisfaction, whose common thread is always daily teamwork: all strengths in which we will continue to invest in the future.

I would like to wrap up by adding that over the past few weeks we have encountered a slowdown in order intake, which we believe is a consequence of the recessionary economic phase that is affecting the industrial sector worldwide; this situation will be addressed with our usual determination, convinced that, thanks in part to the strengthening of the Commercial Area carried out in 2023, our strategic objectives remain valid, even assuming that our growth path is inevitably impacted".

The complete and final annual data (both consolidated and of Marzocchi Pompe S.p.A) for fiscal year 2023 will be reviewed and approved by the Board of Directors at its meeting on March 25, 2024; on the same, the auditing activities by the Auditing Company (PriceWaterhouseCoopers S.p.A.) are underway.
