MARZOCCHI POMPE ANNOUNCES THE STRATEGIC PURCHASE OF A NEW PLANT ADJACENT TO THE ONE CURRENTLY IN USE

THE MARZOCCHI POMPE INDUSTRIAL SITE CONTINUES TO EXPAND AND ZOLA PREDOSA

Bologna, 27th February 2024 - Marzocchi Pompe S.p.A. (EGM:MARP), a leading company in the design, production and marketing of high-performance gear pumps and motors, announces that it has taken another step in its strategic plan to enlarge its complex in Zola Predosa, finalising the purchase of a new 2,500 square metres real estate, of which 1,000 covered, located in Via Calari 9, adjacent to the one currently in use (located in via Grazia 2), for € 1,050,000 and located in the same industrial complex where the company had acquired two other properties in October 2022 ((link to press release) and July 2023 (link to press release).

The purchase of the new facility will provide Marzocchi Pompe with numerous advantages. First of all, from a logistic point of view, the new facility will allow to gather in a single location all the components warehouse that the company needs to produce its more than 20,000 active codes of finished product, making the supply operations of the production departments much more streamlined and efficient. Secondly, the renovation of this building, including an extension of the existing photovoltaic system, will also have a positive effect on the environmental impact, thus continuing the company's journey towards energy self-sufficiency.
