Juni 1999 * INDUS erwirbt Mehrheit am Meßsystemspezialisten IPETRONIK Die INDUS Holding AG, Bergisch Gladbach, hat mit sofortiger Wirkung 91 % der Anteile der IPETRONIK Industrieelektronik und Vertriebs GmbH, Baden-Baden, übernommen und damit den Beteiligungskreis um ein weiteres attraktives Unternehmen ausgebaut. Mit IPETRONIK erwirbt INDUS einen wachstumsstarken Nischenanbieter, der sich auf die Entwicklung und den Vertrieb von Software für die Automobilindustrie spezialisiert hat. Diese Software unterstützt den Anwender bei der Meßwerterfassung und Analyse von Daten bei der Motoren- und Antriebsentwicklung. Die Gesellschaft arbeitet mit namhaften Automobilkonzernen wie BMW, Daimler/Chrysler, VW und Volvo zusammen. IPETRONIK erwartet für das laufende Geschäftsjahr einen Umsatz von 13 Mio. DM, der im folgenden Jahr nach jetzigen Planungen um über 50 % auf 20 Mio. DM steigen soll. Das hohe Wachstum soll unter anderem durch die Erschließung neuer Geschäftsfelder im Bereich der Luft- und Schiffahrtsindustrie ermöglicht werden. Die INDUS ist auf die Übernahme von kleinen und mittelgroßen Unternehmen spezialisiert. Der Umsatz konnte im abgelaufenen Geschäftsjahr um 27% auf 680,2 Mio. DM und der Jahresüberschuß um 21% auf 75,6 Mio. DM erhöht werden. Der Vorstand geht aufgrund des geplanten internen und externen Wachstums davon aus, bereits im Jahr 2000 einen Jahresüberschuß von mehr als 100 Mio. DM zu erzielen. * INDUS acquires majority interest in IPETRONIK, the measurement system specialist Effective immediately, INDUS Holding AG based in BergischGladbach has acquired 91% of the shares in IPETRONIK Industrieelektronik und Vertriebs GmbH of Baden-Baden, thus adding another attractive investment to its portfolio of companies. INDUS’ latest investee, IPETRONIK, is a fast growing supplier of niche products specializing in the development and marketing of specialized software for the automotive industry. IPETRONIK’s software helps engine developers capture and analyse data. The company’s customer list includes such high-profile names as BMW, Daimler/Chrysler, VW and Volvo. IPETRONIK expects to post sales of DM 13 million for the current year. According to current projections, this figure is to rise by 50% to DM 20 million in the next year. The fast growth is to be made possible by entering into new fields of business in the aircraft and shipbuilding industries. INDUS has specialized in the targeted acquisition of small and medium-sized companies. In the past financial year sales increased by 27% to DM 680.2 million, with net profit rising by 21% to DM 75.6 million. In view of the company’s ambitious plans for internal and external growth, the Board expects to post a profit in excess of DM 100 million already in the year 2000.
