Münchner IT-Spezialisten auf dem Sprung nach Spanien München, 23. Februar 2000 – Die international tätige SHS Informationssysteme AG aus München setzt ihren erfolgreichen Expansionskurs weiter fort. Nach Paris nun Madrid: Die Vorstandsmitglieder Richard Heinrich und Adrian Taciulescu haben einen Letter of Intent (LOI) mit einem in Madrid ansässigen IT- Beratungsunternehmen ausgehandelt und unterzeichnet. Der Aufsichtsrat von SHS hat in seiner Sitzung am 22. Februar 2000 die zügige Durchführung einer Due Diligence in Spanien gefordert, um fundierte Informationen über das spanische Unternehmen einzuholen. Über den endgültigen Abschluß eines Kaufvertrages der spanischen Gesellschaft wird der Aufsichtsrat nach Abschluss der Due Diligence bis zum Frühsommer 2000 entscheiden. SHS, die im deutschen Telekommunikationsmarkt bereits seit längerem das führende IT-Beratungsunternehmen ist und mittelfristig auch eine Schlüsselrolle im gesamteuropäischen Telekommunikationsmarkt anstrebt, hat mit dem spanischen Unternehmen einen weiteren idealen Übernahmekandidaten gefunden: Wie SHS in Deutschland berät auch die Gesellschaft in Madrid große Telekommunikationsanbieter – so zum Beispiel Spaniens Nummer 1, die Telefonica. Die künftige SHS-Tochter gestaltet die IT-Landschaft der Telefonica in wesentlichen Teilen. Überaus überzeugend ist auch die wirtschaftliche Situation: Ähnlich wie SHS plant das spanische Unternehmen für 2000 einen Umsatz von mehr als 17 Mio. Euro sowie einen deutlichen Jahresüberschuss. Beeindruckende Zuwachsraten könnte SHS mit der Übernahme aber auch in personeller Hinsicht erreichen. So beschäftigen die Spanier derzeit rund 270 Mitarbeiter. Nach Paris nun Madrid. Der Spanien-Deal ist gut eingefädelt, und die Ausgangsposition für die Erschließung des europäischen Telekommunikationsmarktes könnte nicht besser sein. Having just acquired a company in Paris, SHS is now about to get a base in Madrid: The management board members Richard Heinrich and Adrian Taciulescu have just negotiated and signed a letter of intent (L01) with an IT consulting company based in Madrid. SHS’s supervisory board required in its meeting on 22 February 2000 a fast execution of a due diligence, to get fundamental information about the Spanish company. The supervisory board will decide about the final termination of a acquisition contract after termination of the due diligence up to the early summer 2000. SHS, which has been the leading IT consulting company in the German telecommunications market for some time now and aims, in the medium term, to play a key role in the European telecommunications market, has found another ideal takeover candidate in the Spanish company: Like SHS in Germany, the Madrid-based company provides consulting services to large telecommunications companies – Spain’s number one, Telefonica, for example. The future SHS subsidiary has played a major role in the design of the IT landscape at Telefonica. The business figures are also very impressive: Similar to SHS, the Spanish company expects turnover of more than EUR 17 million in the year 2000 and a substantial profit for the year. The takeover will also represent highly impressive growth for SHS in terms of staff numbers. The Spanish company currently employs a staff of around 270. Having just acquired a company in Paris, this acquisition will give SHS a base in Madrid. The Spanish deal is well on the way to being concluded, and consequently SHS could hardly be in a better position in order to tap the European telecommunications market. Once the takeover is concluded, SHS will dramatically upgrade the forecast for the year 2000.
