April 2000 – Basler Vision Technologies, führender Hersteller künstlicher Seh-Systeme, wird die neuen DVD-Produktionsstätten von Matsushita Media Manufacturing – ein Joint Venture von Panasonic Disc Services Corp. und Eastman Kodak – in Youghal (Irland) und Guadalajara (Mexiko) mit Inspektionssystemen ausstatten. Damit erhöht sich der Anteil von DVD Inspektionssystemen im Auftragseingang des Basler Geschäftsbereiches Optical Media Inspection auf ca. 66%. Panasonic Disc Services Corp. und Matsushita Media Manufacturing werden mit den neuen Produktionsstätten in Irland und Mexiko und den bestehenden Werken in Torrance und Pickneyville (USA) zu einem der weltweit größten Hersteller von DVDs. April 2000 – Basler Vision Technologies welcomed the news that Matsushita Media Manufacturing – a joint venture of Panasonic Disc Services Corp. and Eastman Kodak – have decided to equip the new production plants in Youghal (Ireland) and Guadalajara (Mexico) with inspection systems from the Ahrensburg-based high-tech company. This will increase the share of DVD inspection systems in incoming orders of the Optical Media Inspection business unit of Basler to approx. 66 per cent.
