Quartal 2000 Umsatzerhöhung um 70 Prozent – Signifikate Steigerung des Ergebnisses Amerang, 4. Mai 2000. Die SZ Testsysteme AG, Amerang bei Wasserburg, erzielte im 2. Quartal des Geschäftsjahres 1999/2000 (30. September) mit 17,3 Mio. DM den höchsten Quartalsumsatz der Firmengeschichte. Im Vergleich zum Vorjahr (10,1 Mio. DM) stieg der Umsatz um mehr als 70 Prozent. Im gesamten 1. Halbjahr des Geschäftsjahres betrug das Wachstum knapp 50 Prozent (von 20,1 auf 29,9 Mio. DM). Eine äußerst positive Entwicklung verzeichnet die Gesellschaft auf der Ertragsseite: Sowohl das Ergebnis der gewöhnlichen Geschäftstätigkeit von rund 1,95 Mio. DM als auch das EBIT mit rund 1,94 Mio. DM konnten gegenüber dem Vorjahreszeitraum (Q2) deutlich um 2,6 Mio. DM bzw. 2,4 Mio. DM gesteigert werden. Als Ergebnis pro Aktie erzielte die SZ Testsysteme AG im 2. Quartal rund 0,29 DM; im Vorjahresvergleich hatte an dieser Stelle noch eine “rote Null” gestanden. Im 1. Geschäftshalbjahr erwirtschaftete SZ ein Ergebnis der gewöhnlichen Geschäftstätigkeit von knapp 3 Mio. DM, das entspricht einer Steigerung von 3,9 Mio. DM im Vergleich zum Vorjahr. SZ Testsysteme AG, Amerang bei Wasserburg, more than quadrupled its incoming orders in the first half of the 1999/2000 fiscal year (ending September 30). Compared to the same period in the previous year, orders rose from DM 17.1 million to some DM 70 million. CEO Jürgen Zapf said the exponential rise is a result of the semiconductor boom, above all in the automotive electronics and telecommunications sectors. “One the one hand, the rapid expansion of the semiconductor industry led to considerable growth with existing customers. In addition, the worldwide market acceptance we had achieved in the past years has now made it possible for us to enter business with the Top 10 in the semiconductor industry. ” The company has significantly expanded its production capacities since the inauguration of the new production hall in Amerang in October 1999. In order to keep delivery times under six months, the target for the current fiscal year is to increase production to 100 test systems. By comparison, 44 units were produced in the previous year.
