Die STRATEC Biomedical Systems AG hat mit der Organon Teknika B.V, Niederlande einen Entwicklungs- und Liefervertrag abgeschlossen. Vertragsgegenstand ist die Entwicklung und die darauf folgende mehrjährige Lieferung von vollautomatischen, für hohen Durchsatz geeignete Analysensysteme, basierend auf der STRATEC Systemtemplattform PlateRunner. Organon Teknika, eines der führenden Unternehmen der Diagnostik von Infektionskrankheiten in Blutbanken, erwartet durch dieses vollautomatische Analysensystem eine weitere Stärkung ihrer Marktposition. Organon Teknika wird die Systeme unter eigenem Markennamen zusammen mit ihren Reagenzien vermarkten. Über den Zeitpunkt der Markteinführung und das Geschäftsvolumen wurde mit Organon Teknika aus Wettbewerbsgründen Stillschweigen vereinbart. Die STRATEC Biomedical Systems AG erwartet aus diesem Vertragsabschluß eine nicht unerhebliche Ausweitung des Umsatzes in den Folgejahren. Der Abschluß dieses bedeutenden, langjährigen Vertrages unterstreicht das Potential der Systemplattform PlateRunner und die Leistungsfähigkeit der STRATEC Biomedical Systems AG im Diagnostik- und Life-Sciences-Markt. STRATEC Biomedical Systems AG has signed a development and supply agreement with Organon Teknika B.V., the Netherlands. Subject matter of this agreement is the development and thereafter subsequent delivery of fully automated high throughput systems based on STRATEC’s PlateRunner system platform for a period of several years. Organon Teknika, one of the leading companies in the field of infectious disease diagnostics in blood banks expects to further strenghten its position in the market with this fully automated analyzer. Regarding the time of product launch and the business volume, we have agreed with Organon Teknika to maintain confidentiality for competitive reasons. Based on this agreement, STRATEC Biomedical Systems AG expects an not insignificant expansion of its turnover in the coming years. Organon Teknika will market the systems under its own brand name together with its reagents.
