Juli 2000) Mit dem Abschluss eines Vertrages über die aktuellen Pokemon-Stars baut die UNITEDLABELS AG ihr Portfolio um eine weitere attraktive Lizenz aus. Zukünftig bietet der führende europäische Spezialist für comicware umfangreiche Produktgruppen rund um die Pokemon-Monster an. Lizenzgeber ist die EM.TV & Merchandising AG, Unterföhring. UNITEDLABELS erwartet hieraus innerhalb der nächsten zwei Jahre ein Umsatzvolumen von 18 Millionen DM. Weltweit wurden mit der Verwertung von Pokemon bislang 15 Milliarden DM umgesetzt. Mit den Zeichentrick-Stars baut UNITEDLABELS seine Marktführerschaft für Comic- Lizenzprodukte weiter aus. As part of a licensing agreement covering the current Pokemon stars, UNITEDLABELS AG has successfully expanded its product offering. UNITEDLABELS AG, the leading European specialist in comic products under licence, intends to supply an array of high-quality merchandise centered around the Pokemon characters. The licensor is EM-TV Merchandising AG. Within the next two years, UNITEDLABELS AG expects the new products to generate revenues of DM 18m. Worldwide, Pokemon merchandising has already generated revenues of DM 15 billion. The agreement has allowed UNITEDLABELS AG to further enhance its leading position within the market for comic products under licence.
