August 2000 – Der Aufsichtsrat der Rhein Biotech Gruppe hat Ernest C. de la Houssaye als Nachfolger von Prof. Dr. Cornelis P. Hollenberg zum Vorsitzenden gewählt. Hollenberg gibt das Amt des Vorsitzenden ab, um sich in Zukunft innerhalb des Aufsichtsrates auf die Forschung und Entwicklung der Rhein Biotech Gruppe zu konzentrieren. Prof. Hollenberg ist Leiter des Instituts für Mikrobiologie an der Heinrich-Heine- Universität Düsseldorf und hat im Jahr 1985 die Firma Rhein Biotech gegründet. Ernest de la Houssaye gehört dem Rhein Biotech-Aufsichtsrat seit 1998 an. Als ehemaliges Vorstandsmitglied der Oce N.V. und Aufsichtsratsmitglied von Alusuisse-Lonza Nederland B.V. und Schuttersveld N. V. bringt de la Houssaye wertvolle Erfahrungen im internationalen Business Development in das Kontrollorgan der vergrößerten Rhein Biotech Gruppe ein. He succeeds Prof. Dr. Cornelis P. Hollenberg. Hollenberg is resigning as Chairman in order to concentrate his focus within the Supervisory Board on the Group’s research and development. Prof. Hollenberg is Director of the Institute for Microbiology at Düsseldorfs Heinrich-Heine-University and founded Rhein Biotech in 1985. Ernest de la Houssaye has been a member of Rhein Biotech’s Supervisory Board since 1998.
