Für den Inhalt der Mitteilung ist allein der Emittent verantwortlich. —————————————————————————— Die ELMOS Semiconductor AG nennt neue Umsatzziele Unter Berücksichtigung der erhaltenen Aufträge aus dem Bereich mobile Telecom (Mitteilung vom 25.07.2000) hat die ELMOS AG ihre Umsatzerwartung für das Jahr 2001 neu formuliert. Für das laufende Jahr wird das bisherige Umsatzziel von 204 Mio. DM (104 Mio. EURO) bestätigt, was einem Wachstum von 20% gegenüber dem Vorjahr entspricht. Im Jahr 2001 werden Beiträge aus der Telekommunikation erstmals wirksam und verbessern die Wachstumsrate auf beachtliche 30%. Somit ergibt sich für 2001 ein Umsatzziel von 270 Mio. DM (138 Mio. EURO). Die Gross Margin und die EBIT-Marge werden mindestens auf dem hohen Niveau von >50% bzw. >25% bleiben. Das solide Wachstum des automobilen Kerngeschäftes wird, unter Wahrung der hohen Profitabilität, durch die neuen Telecombeiträge dynamischer. While the year 2000 target stays at the communicated 204 Mio. DM (104 Mio. EURO) – this is a growth of 20% compared to 1999 sales – the sales target for year 2001 has been raised significantly to 270 Mio. DM (138 Mio. EURO), which means a growth rate of 30%. Gross and EBIT margins will be maintained at high levels of more than 50% and 25% respectively. The solid growth of the automotive core business is eclipsed by the dynamics of the telecom sales, keeping profitability high.
