Oktober 2000 Die QSC AG, führender Anbieter von Breitband-Infrastruktur auf DSL-Basis, schließt in Deutschland eine Vereinbarung zur Zusammenarbeit mit UUNET, einer Tochter des US-Telekommunikationsanbieters WorldCom. UUNET zählt zu den führenden Internet Services Communications Companies mit Fokus auf Geschäftskunden. UUNET wird die QSC-Breitbandtechnologie als SDSL-Zugangstechnologie zur Erweiterung seiner Internet-Angebote einsetzen. QSC stellt symmetrische always-on SDSL-Verbindungen mit skalierbarer Bandbreite von 144 Kbps bis 2 Mbps zur Verfügung. Die QSC AG erweitert durch die Zusammenarbeit mit UUNET in Deutschland die Zahl potenzieller Kunden im lukrativen Geschäftskundenmarkt. Zum 30. September 2000 hatte die QSC in diesem Markt bereits 3200 Leitungen abgesetzt.
