Februar 2001 BOV takes over Jardix AG, a development company Focused expansion of the Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) business unit Accelerated development of BOV’s Spheon technology BOV AG, a joint stock corporation which provides e-business services, is taking over Jardix AG, based in Halle, active hitherto as a thoroughbred development company in the EAI growth segment. Jardix contributes a highly-qualified 15- member development team with several years’ experience in aspects of EAI to the BOV Group. Furthermore, the company already has two software products ready for the market, namely ePlug and Procix. Alongside the sales revenue which BOV already expects to book in the current business year from marketing the software licenses, the acquisition enables BOV to expand its project capacities in its newly-founded EAI business unit more swiftly than originally planned. As on integral core component, Procix will accelerate development of BOV’s Spheon technology, which will first go on public demonstration at the CEBIT. Both parties agreed to maintain confidentiality on the purchase price, which is primarily being paid in the form of a contribution in kind consisting of new shares.
