The sender is solely responsible for the contents of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– Ad-hoc service ProSiebenSat.1 Group achieves significant increases in revenue and result in the financial year 2000 Munich, March 6, 2001. ProSiebenSat.1 Group achieved record revenue and result in its first financial year. According to the unaudited statement, the company which was created by the merger of SAT.1 and ProSieben Media AG records a net income of 93 million Euro for the financial year 2000, an increase of 15 percent over the pro forma numbers of the previous year. Group revenue rose seven percent to 2.155 billion Euro. Pre-tax group income rose by four percent to Euro 205 million. Included in this number is a charge of 27.4 million Euro stemming from the merger. The group’s pre-tax profit margin was at 9.5 percent. Without the impact of the merger, pre- tax group income was 233 million Euro, a plus of 18 percent. Earnings per share rose 26 percent to 0.53 Euro, as measured by DVFA/SG. EBIT grew to 245 million Euro, up two percent. Cash flow as measured by DVFA/SG increased seven percent to 1.279 billion Euro.
