The issuer has the sole responsibility of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– ANNOUNCEMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH § 15 OF THE GERMAN SECURITIES TRADING ACT ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG plans to increase dividend amount Munich, Germany, April 9, 2000. At the annual general meeting of ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG to be held on May 31, 2001, the Executive Board and Supervisory Board will propose a dividend of Euro 0.30 for each preference share and Euro 0.28 for each ordinary share for the year 2000. The company announced its plans following today’s Supervisory Board meeting. Domestic preference shareholders will receive an additional tax credit in the amount of Euro 0.13 per share. Under the joint proposal on the appropriation of profits put forward by the Executive Board and the Supervisory Board, total dividends are to be increased to Euro 56 million compared to Euro 40 million distributed by ProSieben Media AG in the previous year. In consequence, around 44 percent of ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG’s net income for the year will be distributed to the company’s shareholders. Euro 63 million are to be allocated to revenue reserves. Euro eight million will be carried forward to the new accounting period.
