The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– Announcement according to § 15 WpHG Ferrari grants CENIT major EUR 1.7 million order IT Partnership deal signed with Italian Sports and Racing Car Manufacturer Maranello, Stuttgart, May 9, 2001. Ferrari, the Formula One racing car legend, has chosen L&H Consultant Inc. (to be renamed CENIT America), a subsidiary of software systems integrator CENIT AG Systemhaus, as its exclusive partner for all information technology (IT) services. The three-year-deal, worth EUR 1.7 million annually (approx. DM 3.3 million), was recently signed by Ferrari Chairman Luca Cordero di Montezemolo and Alex Habrich, CEO of L&H Consultant. CENIT will supply all IT systems for developing Formula One machines and sports cars using Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools, they will implement and manage the companys virtual networks, provide technical support and train Ferrari personnel. The agreement also involves CENIT integrating the Internet into the design systems, enabling Ferrari to develop and test vehicles simultaneously from different centers worldwide. The CENIT staff on-site will be increased significantly. Ferrari engineers in Maranello, Italy, are currently supported by 17 CENIT specialists. Ferrari and L&H have been a Formula One dream team for five years already. For CENIT, the partnership with Ferrari adds yet another key client to its extensive customer list.
