No. (WKN): 548956, Ticker Symbol: ULC UNITEDLABELS AG grows more than 50% in the last five quarters in succession – Sales increase from EURO 5.1m to EURO 8.0m – Income from ordinary operations stands at EURO 0.2m – Order backlog grows 138% to EURO 5m (Münster, 15 Mai 2001) – In the first quarter of 2001, UNITEDLABELS AG increased its revenues by 56 per cent year-on-year, to EURO 8m (previous year: EURO 5.1m). Due to seasonal influences, income from ordinary operations was EURO 0.2m (previous year EURO 0.4m). Accordingly, earnings before interest and taxes amounted to EURO 0.2m, and net income for the quarter was EURO 0.1m. The order backlog was disproportionately higher compared with the same period last year; it currently stands at EURO 5m (previous year: EURO 2.1m). Cash flow more than doubled, up from EURO 0.2m in the previous year to EURO 0.5m. DVFA earnings per share for the period under review increased from EURO 0.04 to EURO 0.06.
