Wolfgang Hilpert (35) has been appointed new Chief Technology Officer at Nemetschek AG. After graduating with a degree in industrial engineering at the University of Paderborn, he began his professional career as Chief Designer for Workflows at Pavone Informationssysteme GmbH. This was followed by a period as Managing Partner and Technology Officer at ONEstone Information Technologies GmbH prior to moving to Cambridge/USA where he joined today’s Lotus Software, IBM Software Group – formerly IBM Corporation – at the beginning of 1999. There, he was responsible for the Knowledge Management and Workflows product divisions. Gerhardt Merkel, CEO of Nemetschek AG: “As of November 1, Wolfgang Hilpert will apply his experience in the new Technology division and assume responsibility for product development and innovation strategy worldwide.” Effective immediately, Jürgen Bürtsch, Dipl.-Ing, has resigned from the Managing Board of Nemetschek AG. He was responsible for the Business Units division.
