The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– FORTEC Elektronik AG: In fiscal year 2000/01 ambitious prognosis even topped. – significant increase of turnover by 51 percent to 68,278 million DM – profit (EBT) considerably raised to 4,1 million DM – still unbroken growth during 1st quarter of business year 2001/02. Landsberg, 2001-09-25. In FY 2000/01 (year to end 30 June 2001), FORTEC Elektronik AG achieved best results so far during its 10-years stock-exchange history. Company turnover grew by 51 percent to 68,278 million DM (previous year 45,127 million DM) and thus considerably topped prognosis. Pre-tax profits again significantly raised to 4,1 million DM due to the additional cash flow of some hundredthousand DM resulting from the extraordinary semiconductor business. Thus the reliability of the prognosis set by the FORTEC management again proved right. The increase in profit, even more realistically shown in the profit before tax, interest and depreciation (EBITDA) could be raised by 28 percent from 3,9 million DM to 5,0 million DM. Thus, at the stock-exchange, FORTEC is presently traded by a mere 5-times EBITDA-profit value.
