Responding to an appeal filed by digital advertising AG, the regional court of Frankfurt am Main issued a temporary injunction against Deutsche Börse AG. The injunction prohibits the German stock exchange from applying the new rules for the Neuer Markt and its criteria for exclusion, in particular the deadlines stipulated therein, to the enterprise. According to the ruling of the regional court Frankfurt’s fourth chamber for commercial matters, the new guidelines may be applied to the digital communication solutions provider no earlier than April 2002. Deutsche Börse AG can appeal the decision. The enterprise filed the appeal on the grounds that Deutsche Börse AG had committed breach of contract.
