The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– CeoTronics AG Quarter 1, 01/02 Growth confirmed / Cost of revenue reduced / Income improved Consolidated sales of the first quarter of the business year 2001/2002 (ended August 31, 2001) of CeoTronics AG Audio Video Data Communication, which is listed on Frankfurts Neuer Markt (WKN 540740), rose by 15 per cent to 2,434,010 Euro compared to the first quarter last year (2,115,729 Euro). Cost of revenue in percentage of net-sales decreased by 4.8 percentage points due to an eased situation on the supplier market for electronic components. Operating income improved by 117,027 Euro from -711,234 Euro (last year) to -594,207 Euro (current year). Net-income (after taxes) amounted to -651,218 Euro which is 9,742 Euro above the comparable last years figure. In the companys history, the period June, July, August has always been the quarter with the lowest sales but at full cost. CeoTronics forecasts a sales increase of 13% and a positive net-income for the current business year.
