The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– Nine-Month Report 2001 of Energiekontor AG Bremen, Germany, 14th November 2001. In the first nine months of the current business year (01.01. – 31.12.2001) Energiekontor AG’s sales revenue amounted to EUR 48.238 mil. This is equivalent to an increase in sales revenue of 58% compared to the same period last year (30.09.2000: EUR 30.448 mil.). The result before interest and tax (EBIT) amounted to EUR 4.420 mil., the consolidated result at 30.09.2001 was EUR 3.225 mil. The sales revenue includes revenues from the planning and installation of wind farms together with the marketing of wind farm funds shares. The service sector of the Energiekontor Group, which comprises technical and commercial management of Energiekontor wind farms, contributed to sales revenue with revenues amounting to EUR 786 thousand. In the wind farm project business the bulk of turnover traditionally arises in the fourth quarter of each year. Energiekontor’s projected sales revenue for the year is EUR 124 mil. with an operating result (EBIT) of EUR 13.5 mil.
