Pasadena/Ahrensburg, 30.11.2001 – The American semiconductor manufacturer, Micron Technology, Inc., has acquired substantially all of the assets and certain liabilities of Photobit Corp., of which Basler AG holds 14.7% of the outstanding stock. Basler and Micron have entered into an agreement with regard to continuing Basler’s access to CMOS Sensor Technology. The cash received by Basler by this asset deal amounts up to Euro 7.3m, the asset value of the investment is Euro 7.3m after book value adjustments in the third quarter.
