The sender is solely responsible for the contents of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– CeBIT 2002: QSC acquires Tenovis as new sales partner Cologne/Hanover, 15.3.02 – QSC AG, Germany’s leading alternative DSL service provider, has signed a sales partnership agreement with Tenovis, one of Germany’s leading IT and telecommunications service providers. With immediate effect, QSC will supply to Tenovis its business customer products “Q-DSL office” and “Q-DSL business” products which include Internet services such as e-mail, webspace and domain registration. The collaboration with QSC enables Tenovis to significantly expand the regional coverage of its DSL services. Tenovis will market these services under its own brand name. Billing and technical support will also be carried out by Tenovis, a specialist for IT and telecommunications services. “We are pleased to have won Tenovis as a prominent strategic partner with a particularly strong sales and customer service organization. Tenovis also has excellent customer relations with more than 100,000 small and medium-sized enterprises – the precise target group for our business products”, comments Frank Urbas, Head of Sales for business customers at QSC. “This partnership with QSC means that we can now meet our customers’ growing demand for DSL products in additional regions. We are impressed by the high quality, reliability and fair pricing of QSC products”, added Peter Koller, Team Coach for the Telecom Services business unit at Tenovis. The two partners have also started discussions with the aim to develop and market additional products, such as linking PABX systems over DSL. Tenovis employs a workforce of around 6,800 to serve its 200,000 customers from 82 service centers throughout Europe. It supplies intelligent and efficient communications solutions to address the progressive integration of telecommunications and Internet services. The range of products and services extends from PABX systems, Internet telephony solutions, terminals, telehousing, multimedia services, business contact centers, outsourcing concepts and sector- specific solutions.
