SAP SI reiterates annual targets despite modest quarterly results Ad-hoc-announcement transmitted by DGAP. The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– SAP SI reiterates annual targets despite modest quarterly results Frankfurt / Dresden, Germany, April 11, 2002. SAP Systems Integration AG (SAP SI) expects to post sales for the first quarter of 2002 of between 73 and 75 million euros (compared to 60.1 million euros in 2001). Operating profit is projected to lie between 5 and 5.5 million euros (8.8 million euros in 2001). Results were impacted by provisions against bad debt relating to the Fairchild Dornier insolvency proceedings, and by the decline, albeit expected, in the utilization of consulting capacity. SAP SI has already taken appropriate measures to reduce costs, strengthen sales and improve consulting capacity utilization. Order backlog on March 31, 2002, had risen by above 20 percent compared to year- end 2001 (124 million euros). SAP SI is reiterating its targets for the whole of 2002 for revenue growth (between 15 and 20 percent) and operating profit margin (between 15 and 17 percent). The quarterly report will be published as planned on April 30, 2002.
