The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– TTL AG still expanding core business as of 31 March 2002 TTL Information Technology AG, Munich, provider of integrated IT services (Neuer Markt SIN 750 100). In the first three months of the ongoing business year, TTL achieved a turnover of Euro 12.7 m, compared to Euro 15.4 m in the preceding year, a reduction of Euro 2.7 m (18 %), attributable to falling sales at the subsidiary 1st DATA Solution Vertriebs-GmbH, which adversely affected all the segments involved. TTL AGs core business was in fact up by Euro 500 k (4 %). EBITA came to minus Euro 41 k. Earnings after taxes totaled minus Euro 0.76 m (preceding year: Euro 0.74 m). Earnings per share were minus Euro 0.15 (preceding year: minus Euro 0.15). The TTL affiliate BDI Laguna is well up to budget for the years 1st quarter, and with a turnover of US$ 45.7 m achieved EBITDA of US$ 2.1 m. Under the restructuring program, the TTL subsidiary TTL Consult IT GmbH will also be integrated into the central facility at Unterschleissheim effective 30 June 2002. The company expects this initiative to produce substantial savings, particularly in terms of logistics and personnel outlay. Order volume on 31 March 2002 totaled Euro 10.1 m. Capital expenditure came to Euro 9.96 m (preceding year: Euro 12.5 m) in the 1st quarter of 2002. The TTL Group is purposefully progressing its consolidation strategy, with absolute priority accorded to expanding its traditional enterprise solutions core business. This includes both development of profitable partner business, and entering into strategic partnerships.
