After all, CENIT Germany generates approximately 78% of the CENIT Group sales. CENIT Germany”s sales revenue in the first 6 months 2002 amounts to 35.9 Mio. EUR. Gross Profit adds up to 20.2 Mio. EUR. EBITDA amounts to 0.75 Mio. EUR in Germany. Naturally, the strong 2nd quarter 2002 in Germany has had an impact on this trend. Therefore, CENIT Group”s EBITDA has increased by 126 per cent compared to the reference period 2001. In Germany, the EBIT for the first 6 months closes at minus 0.1 Mio. EUR, exceeding all expectations. Considering only the 2nd quarter, CENIT Germany can present even more positive figures: an EBIT of 0.1 Mio. EUR and an EBT of 0.1 Mio. EUR. Thus, the previous loss could be reduced considerably. Current liabilities due to banks have reduced to 7 Mio. EUR from 12.9 Mio. EUR in the previous year. Compared to the last quarter with liabilities due to banks amounting to 8.2 Mio. EUR, this is a reduction by 1.2 Mio. EUR. Again, we can present a positive operating Cash Flow. Further-more, CENIT’s capital ratio adds up to 43 per cent. The 6-Month-Report will be published until 20th August 2002.
