FORTEC AG: Fiscal year 2001/2002 (01-07.01-30.06.02) record level achieved again Ad-hoc-announcement transmitted by DGAP. The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– FORTEC AG: Fiscal year 2001/2002 (01-07.01-30.06.02) record level achieved again – Core business increased again by two digits – Increase of dividend to EUR 0,75 (previous year EUR 0,51) Again in previous fiscal year, turnover of 34,7 mio. EUR and profit (EBITA) of 2,36 mio. EUR reached same level as last year. This means a company result of EUR 2,62 per share based on EBITA profits. In FORTEC’s core business of embedded solutions followed by the segments power supplies, display technology and embedded computers, the turnover increased from 29,5 mio. EUR to 32,6 mio EUR as planned. The group only works with own capital without any bank obligations. Compared to last year, liquidity improved by 2,3 mio. EUR to 2,6 mio. EUR, at the same time the operative cash flow considerably increased by 1,9 mio. EUR to 2,8 mio. EUR. Therefore on occasion of the annual shareholders’ meeting on Dec. 19, 2002, the board will suggest to increase the dividend from EUR 0,51 to EUR 0,75. Inspite of the current difficult situation, we will continue to invest in our core business. As per Oct. 01, 2002 we will start business in our newly founded subsidiary Blum Stromversorgungen GmbH.
