Heidelberg, January 22nd 2003 – Subsequent to preliminary output figure evaluations, operating business in the fourth quarter 2002 has proved very satisfactory, especially in light of the difficult environment. The major corporate divisions of life assurance and health insurance report increases in new brokerage business compared to last year’s figures. The number of clients rose at the end of the year to over 500,000 (cf. 453,000 in 2001), who are advised by approximately 3,000 financial consultants.
