DCI AG publishes figures for Q3 2004

DCI AG today announces the result for Q3 2004 and the first nine months of 2004. On a quarterly basis, Group sales totaled EUR 791k after EUR 882k in the comparable period of the previous year. For the first nine months of 2004, sales of EUR 2,308k were posted (PY: EUR 2,741k). The operating result improved from minus EUR 751k in Q3 2003 to the current figure of minus EUR 187k (Q3/2004). After nine months the operating result improved from minus EUR 3,010k (2003) to minus EUR 1,253k (2004). For Q3 2004, the Group result was minus EUR 199k (Q3 2003: minus EUR 970k) and for the first nine months of 2004, minus EUR 450k (PY: minus EUR 3.011k). Ongoing cost reductions lowered operating expenditure from EUR 1,141k in Q3 2003 to the current figure of EUR 668k (Q3 2004) (first nine months 2004: EUR 2,508k, first nine months 2003: EUR 4,014k). As of September 30, 2004, the Group had cash and cash equivalents of EUR 2,344k and equity capital of EUR 2,264k.
