Munich-based SHS Informationssysteme AG today announced that it has won MAN Financial Services GmbH, Munich, as a customer. The subsidiary of MAN AG will access supplier credit rating information via the SHS GUARDEAN Agency Gateway in the future. The software solution from SHS enables MAN to access up to 40 credit reference agencies in twelve European countries and check the creditworthiness of its customers within a matter of seconds. At the same time, the SHS software is linked to the company’s SAP system via an interface. As the financial services provider of the MAN Group, which is one of Europe’s largest manufacturers of industrial goods such as commercial vehicles, diesel engines and printing presses, MAN offers financing schemes for capital goods that can be leased. The project manager at MAN Financial Services GmbH comments: “We identify the opportunities and risks of leasing and lease purchase deals. To do so, we need a reliable foundation so that we can offer our customer a straightforward and efficient way to make decisions.
