BOV AG reports profitabel 1st quarter 2005
Ad hoc announcement §15 WpHG Accounts 1st quarter 2005 BOV AG reports profitabel 1st quarter 2005 Ad hoc announcement transmitted by DGAP. The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. —————————————————————————— Essen, 18 May 2005 BOV AG was able to consolidate the turn-around and closes the 1st quarter 2005 at a total output to the amount of EUR 3.9 million (previous year EUR 5.4 million) with a positive profit before tax (EBT) of EUR 158 thousand. The previous year has seen losses of EUR 430 thousand. This improvement of profits is mainly due to the consequent restructuring efforts as well as the newly success with the acquisition of larger projects. The utilization of BOV employees has been improved; the turnover per head is at the highest level since the IPO in 2000. The development of the business segments has to be differentiated: while Transaction Systems and Interaction Systems are well in plan, the Training division had a bad start in 2005. Several action items for improving flexibility and profitability have been defined and are in the midst of implementation. Cash accounts grew the second consecutive quarter by EUR 183 thousand to the amount of EUR 3.1 million. Equity is now at EUR 1.7 million. —————————————————————————— ——————————— BOV Aktiengesellschaft Contact person for Investor Relations: Christoph Junge mailto:[email protected] Contact person for PR, press and media: Martin Möllmann mailto:[email protected] Alfredstrasse 279 D-45133 Essen Tel.: +49.(0)201.4513-3 Fax: +49.(0)201.4513-520 BOV AG Alfredstr. 279 45133 Essen Deutschland ISIN: DE0005493704 WKN: 549370 Listed: Geregelter Markt in Frankfurt (General Standard); Freiverkehr in Berlin-Bremen, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Hannover, München und Stuttgart End of ad hoc announcement (c)DGAP 18.05.2005 180914 Mai 05
