On a like-for-like-basis growth in turnover in October amounts to 4.1 %. Thus sales developed at the upper end of our expectations. According to TextilWirtschaft the textile retail branch suffered a decrease of -2.0 % in the month of October. So in this month again LUDWIG BECK continued to distance clearly from the development in the textile sector. Within the period January 1st to October 31st 2005 turnover at LUDWIG BECK increased by 1.0 % to 78.5 (77.8) million EUR. Adjusted to sales area this means an increase of 2.8 %.
