The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. —————————————————————————— Vossloh AG: Potential decree to prohibit Track Systems’ acquisition At a meeting on December 21, 2005, the Federal Cartel Authority announced that around mid-January it will serve on the parties a draft decree to prohibit the acquisition by Vossloh of the Track Systems division from Pfleiderer which had been agreed upon by the parties on August 2, 2005. Therefore, the transaction may no longer be expected to be closed in the short term. However, both Vossloh and Pfleiderer believe that the Federal Cartel Authority’s objections or doubts may still be dispelled by making certain commitments, details of this approach being currently examined. Nonetheless, Pfleiderer communicated this afternoon that it would additionally search for alternative disposal options after January 1, 2006.
