REALTECH AG: Provisional quarterly figures for Q1/2006

REALTECH AG recorded revenue of EUR 13.1 million in the first quarter of 2006, 12% up on the figure for the previous year (first quarter of 2005: EUR 11.7 million). Software revenues increased by 8% compared with Q1/2005 to EUR 2.6 million (EUR 2.4 million). Revenues in the Consulting segment rose by 14% to EUR 10.5 million (EUR 9.3 million). EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortization) increased to EUR 0.7 million (minus EUR 0.2 million). EBIT increased to EUR 0.4 million (minus EUR 0.6 million), meaning that the comparison of first quarters has given rise to a positive result for the first time since 2000. Net income amounted to EUR 0.1 million (minus EUR 0.4 million), corresponding to earnings per share of EUR 0.01 (minus EUR 0.08). In the first three months of 2006, the company recorded a EUR 1.5 million cash flow from operating activities (EUR 2.7 million). At the end of March 2006, net cash and cash equivalents were EUR 27.4 million, compared to EUR 26.0 million at the end of 2005 and EUR 24.2 million at the end of March 2005.
