SHS Informationssysteme AG:First Data International implements GUARDEAN at Dresdner Bank

First Data International is a leading provider of electronic commerce and payment solutions for financial institutions and merchants around the world and, with its subsidiary TeleCash, one of the leading providers of cashless payment systems in Germany. GUARDEAN supports First Data in the application process and application scoring for Dresdner Bank´s credit card with fuel bonus product. The system enables checks on the creditworthiness of individuals within seconds, followed by automatic acceptance or refusal of the application. Within the First Data project, the integration of GUARDEAN supports fast and efficient handling of credit card applications and access and data transfer for validity enquiries from and to the credit agencies via the SHS Agency Gateway. Sven Zink, Head of Operations at First Data International in Nuremberg, explains: “SHS has been a strong partner for First Data even though the time-frame for implementation was very tight”.
