Reinecke + Pohl Sun Energy AG: 2nd quarter results 2006

The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. —————————————————————————— Hamburg, August 1st, 2006: Reinecke + Pohl Sun Energy AG has achieved a turnover of 32.7 million EUR in the first six months of the current financial year. The company, specialized in the projection of turnkey solar plants, was capable of slightly exceeding their own turnover expectations for this period. Compared to first quarter results, which were weak due to bad weather conditions, the company’s EBIT was increased. RPSE’s EBIT for the period reached 1.0 Mio EUR. The company’s segment “projects” contributed in particular to the achieved EBIT with high-margin projects. The result of the period was debited by the costs incurred from the issue of a convertible bond in May 2006, and the write-offs on receivables for a project that could not be realized. In the first six months of the year, the company generated a result of 0.3 million EUR. The Executive Board is satisfied with the results achieved and further expects the positive development of the company as planned in the business year of 2006 on June 30th,2006.
