Reinecke + Pohl Sun Energy AG: Deliveries of 140 Megawatt Thin Film Modules from First Solar fixed

Yesterday RPSE and First Solar confirmed the delivery volumes of the master supply agreement signed in April of this year: From 2007 until 2012 RPSE will purchase 140 megawatts of thin film modules from First Solar. This corresponds to a prospective turnover of more than 500 Mio EUR for RPSE. The delivery volumes have now been finalized after Government approval of the new First Solar factory in Frankfurt / Oder, Germany in July. “These extensive supply volumes clearly strengthen our position as one of the leading providers of thin film-technology“, says Martin Schulz-Colmant, Spokesman of the Executive Board of Reinecke + Pohl Sun Energy AG. Showing a relatively high degree of efficiency also at rather diffuse solar radiation conditions, modules of the high-yield thin film technology are particularly suited for larger solar plants.
