The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. —————————————————————————— MPC Capital raises 2006 profit guidance – Successful divestment of British “88 Wood Street” property – Management expects EUR 50 million in 2006 net income – EUR 4 dividend secured Hamburg, September 11, 2006 – By selling the “88 Wood Street” property from its England real estate fund at an attractive price, MPC Capital AG has leveraged the situation in the international real estate markets for the benefit of its fund investors. The sale contract was signed today in the evening and the transaction is expected to close by the end of September. The successful preparation, implementation and settlement of this transaction will add approx. EUR 7 million to MPC Capital AG’s consolidated net income. The company’s Managing Board now anticipates to report approximately EUR 50 million in net income for the year (previous guidance: EUR 40 – 45 million), with the expected placement volume remaining unchanged at EUR 1 billion at least. This net income is equivalent to approximately EUR 4.72 per share and will allow the company to continue its dividend policy with a payout of EUR 4 per share. The figures for the first nine months of FY 2006 will be published on October 27, 2006.
