VERBIO Vereinigte BioEnergie AG: announces price range for IPO

The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. —————————————————————————— Ad hoc-announcement according to § 15 WpHG from October 4, 2006 VERBIO announces price range for IPO Hamburg, October 4, 2006 – VERBIO Vereinigte BioEnergie AG (ISIN DE000A0JL9W6) and the existing shareholders have jointly determined with Credit Suisse and Dresdner Kleinwort the following details of the planned IPO. The price range within which purchase offers may be submitted has been set between Euro 17.00 and Euro 21.00 per share. A total of up to 18,200,000 shares in VERBIO Vereinigte BioEnergie AG will be offered. Thereof up to 13,000,000 shares will come from a capital increase against cash contributions, which is expected to be resolved on October 8, 2006 by the management with the consent of the supervisory board. An additional up to 3,200,000 shares will be offered by the existing shareholders. Moreover, the existing shareholders offer up to 2,000,000 shares to cover over-allotments. The offer period is expected to last from October 5, 2006 to October 10, 2006 at 12.00 (CEST) for retail investors and at 16.30 (CEST) for institutional investors. During this period interested investors can subscribe for the shares at the syndicate banks during regular business hours. The placement price is expected to be determined on October 10, 2006. The first day of trading in the Official Market of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (Prime Standard) is planned for October 11, 2006.
