Eckert & Ziegler again with Record Results

Eckert & Ziegler Strahlen- und Medizintechnik AG (ISIN DE0005659700), a specialist for cancer radiation systems and radiometric technology, has posted results of 2.1 million EUR or 0.67 EUR per share after taxes and distribution to other shareholders for the nine-month period ending September 30. Third-quarter sales reached the record mark of more than 12 million EUR, putting the total for the business year thus far at 36 million EUR (compared to last year’s figure of 30 million EUR). Growth was especially dynamic for prostate cancer implants and tumor radiation systems. The Board anticipates results of approximately 2.5 million EUR or around 0.80 EUR per share for the full year, representing an increase of around 57% over last year.
