Munich, December 18, 2006 ? Stephan Schulak will leave the Management Board
of SUSS MicroTec AG on March 31, 2007 by mutual agreement with the
Supervisory Board.

Stefan Schulak has been the company?s Chief Financial Officer since
April 1, 2002 and in this role played a significant part in the successful
operative and financial restructuring of the SUSS MicroTec Group.

The Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Dr. Winfred Süss thanks Stephan
Schulak for his very dedicated and successful work for the company.
