Frankfurt/Main, 1 February 2007. Amadeus FiRe achieved consolidated sales
of EUR 69,5 Mio. in fiscal year 2006 (prior year: EUR 52 Mio.), an
increase of 33,8 per cent despite less chargeable days compared to prior
year. Organically group sales grew by 30,6 per cent. All services
generated growth whereas the temporary staffing business rose by 48 per
cent.
Gross profit margin increased by 200 basis points to 41,2 per cent after
39,2 per cent in prior year. In particular the increase refers to a
better utilization rate in the temporary staffing sector as well as the
increased margin of the Academy of International Accounting which has
been acquired in 2005.
The selling and administrative expenses rose by 18,7 per cent.
For the last fiscal year the operative group result before goodwill
amortisation (EBITA) amounted to EUR 8,7 Mio. (prior year: EUR 3,5 Mio.).
Therewith the prior year’s operative group result has been excelled by
151 per cent.
EBITA margin was 12,5 per cent (prior year: 6,7 per cent).
For 2007 the Amadeus FiRe group expects increasing sales and a further
improvement of the operative result.
The final figures for the fiscal year 2006 will be announced during a
press conference/analyst’s meeting on 28 March 2007.
