Notifications pursuant to § 21 para. 1 WpHG

Dear Sirs,

we, the undersigned entities, notify you pursuant to §§ 21 seq. WpHG of the
following with regard to HCI Capital AG, Bleichenbrücke 10, 20354 Hamburg,
Germany:

On 5 February 2007 Corsair III Investments (Luxembourg) S.a.r.l., 65,
Boulevard Grande Duchesse Charlotte, L-1331 Luxembourg, exceeded the
thresholds of 3%, 5%, 10% and 15% of voting rights in HCI Capital AG and
indirectly held 19.50% of the voting rights (this corresponds to 4,680,000
voting rights). These voting rights were held by MPC Münchmeyer Petersen
Capital AG and attributed pursuant to § 22 Subsec. 2 WpHG.

Through the aforementioned transaction, each of the following entities
associated with Corsair III Investments (Luxembourg) S.a.r.l. also exceeded
the thresholds of 3%, 5%, 10% and 15% of voting rights in HCI Capital AG on
5 February 2007 and indirectly held 19.50% of the voting rights (this
corresponds to 4,680,000 voting rights):

• Corsair Capital LLC, c/o The Corporation Trust Company, 1209 Orange
  Street, City of Wilmington, County of New Castle, DE 19801, USA,
  controlling Corsair III Offshore Management L.P., c/o M&C Corporate
  Services Limited, PO Box 309 GT, Ugland House, George Town, Grand
  Cayman, Cayman Islands as its General Partner;

• Corsair III Offshore Management L.P. controlling Corsair III Financial
  Services Offshore Capital Partners L.P., c/o M&C Corporate Services
  Limited, PO Box 309 GT, Ugland House, George Town, Grand Cayman, Cayman
  Islands as its General Partner;

• Corsair III Financial Services Offshore Capital Partners L.P.
  controlling Corsair III Finance Europe S.à.r.l., 65, Boulevard Grande
  Duchesse Charlotte, L-1331 Luxembourg;

  Investments (Luxembourg) S.a.r.l.

The 19.50% of the voting rights held indirectly by each of the
aforementioned entities were held by MPC Münchmeyer Petersen Capital AG and
attributed pursuant to § 22 Subsec. 2 WpHG through the respective
aforementioned controlled entities.

On 7 February 2007 Corsair III Investments (Luxembourg) S.à.r.l., 65,
Boulevard Grande Duchesse Charlotte, L-1331 Luxembourg, exceeded the
thresholds of 20% and 25% of voting rights in HCI Capital AG and held
25.12% of the voting rights (this corresponds to 6,029,793 voting rights).
Out of these voting rights 19.50% (this corresponds to 4,680,000 voting
rights) were held by MPC Münchmeyer Petersen Capital AG and attributed
pursuant to § 22 Subsec. 2 WpHG.

Through the aforementioned transaction, each of the following entities
associated with Corsair III Investments (Luxembourg) S.à.r.l. also exceeded
the thresholds of 20% and 25% of voting rights in HCI Capital AG on 7
February 2007 and indirectly held 25.12% of the voting rights (this
corresponds to 6,029,793 voting rights):

• Corsair Capital LLC, The Corporation Trust Company, 1209 Orange Street,
  City of Wilmington, County of New Castle, DE 19801, USA, controlling
  Corsair III Offshore Management L.P., c/o M&C Corporate Services
  Limited, PO Box 309 GT, Ugland House, George Town, Grand Cayman, Cayman
  Islands as its General Partner;

• Corsair III Offshore Management L.P. controlling Corsair III Financial
  Services Offshore Capital Partners L.P., c/o M&C Corporate Services
  Limited, PO Box 309 GT, Ugland House, George Town, Grand Cayman, Cayman
  Islands as its General Partner;

• Corsair III Financial Services Offshore Capital Partners L.P.
  controlling Corsair III Finance Europe S.à.r.l., 65, Boulevard Grande

• Corsair III European Investments S.à.r.l. controlling Corsair III
  Investments (Luxembourg) S.a.r.l.

Out of the 25.12% of the voting rights held indirectly by each of the
aforementioned entities 19.50% (this corresponds to 4,680,000 voting
rights) were held by MPC Münchmeyer Petersen Capital AG and attributed
pursuant to § 22 Subsec. 2 WpHG through the respective aforementioned
controlled entities and 5.62% (this corresponds to 1,349,793 voting rights)
were attributed pursuant to § 22 Subsec. 1 Sentence 1 No. 1 WpHG through
the respective aforementioned controlled entities.
