Schroders plc, London, Großbritannien, hat uns mit Schreiben vom 19.
Februar 2007 die folgende Mitteilung gemacht:

'Please be aware that Schroders plc is the parent company of Schroder
Administration Limited, which is itself the parent company of Schroder
Investment Management Limited. The registered address for all companies is
31 Gresham Street, London EC2V 7QA.

We, Schroder Investment Management Ltd, write to advise you, in accordance
with sec. 21 para.1 WpHG that on 12th February 2007 our shareholding in
Bilfinger Berger AG (Carl-Reiß-Platz 1-5, 68165 Mannheim, Germany) fell
below the threshold of 5% and amounts to 4.88% (equivalent to 1,816,525
shares). Of these voting rights 1,816,525 are attributable to Schroder
Investment Management Ltd. according to sec. 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 6 WpHG.

Schroder Investment Management Ltd. holds 4.88% through funds.

We, Schroder Administration Ltd, write to advise you, in accordance with
sec. 21 para. 1 WpHG that on 12th February 2007 our shareholding in
Bilfinger Berger AG (Carl-Reiß-Platz 1-5, 68165 Mannheim, Germany) fell
below the threshold of 5% and amounts to 4.88% (equivalent to 1,816,525
shares). Of these voting rights 1,816,525 are attributable to Schroder
Administration Ltd. according to sec. 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 6, sent. 2 and
3 WpHG.

We, Schroder plc, write to advise you, in accordance with sec. 21 para. 1
WpHG that on 12th February 2007 our shareholding in Bilfinger Berger AG
(Carl-Reiß-Platz 1-5, 68165 Mannheim, Germany) fell below the threshold of
5% and amounts to 4.88% (equivalent to 1,816,525 shares). Of these voting
rights 1,816,525 are attributable to Schroder plc according to sec. 22
para. 1 sent. 1 no. 6, sent. 2 and 3 WpHG.'
