Reinecke + Pohl Sun Energy AG: New name in the solar power market – Nastro Umwelttechnik and Maaß Regenerative Energien become ‘colexon’
Reinecke + Pohl Sun Energy AG / Miscellaneous
Announcement, transmitted by DGAP - a company of EquityStory AG.

'colexon' – this is how Nastro Umwelttechnik GmbH, Meppen, and Maass
Regenerative Energien GmbH, Wesel, the operative subsidiaries of Reinecke +
Pohl Sun Energy AG in Germany, will be called soon. By this means the
group, which exists already since 2005, creates an integrative brand
identity for the first time. The group’s foreign subsidiaries will also be
operating under the new name 'colexon'.
colexon is a brand name that is highly memorable and easy to understand at
the international markets as well: colexon is derived from 'collect sun'.
Thus, the company name indicates that customers will be able to collect
money through the sun with solar power plants from colexon.
Under the new name, the subsidiaries in Meppen and Wesel will continue to
offer high-quality solar plants and components to the customers. The group
further plans to offer solar modules meeting the high in-house quality
standards under the trademark colexon in the future.
The new colexon logo bears resemblance to the logo of the holding company
via a graphical element that occurs in both logos. Thus, the operative
subsidiaries approach the holding company even visually.
Moreover, the consolidation of the two German subsidiaries has already been
scheduled. By this means synergy effects both in the organisational
processes as well as in the external image will become stronger. This move
is the corollary to the restructuring measures in the Reinecke + Pohl Sun
Energy group, which have been heralded at the end of 2006.
The Reinecke + Pohl Sun Energy group is one of the leading manufacturer
independent system providers in the photovoltaic sector. The operative
subsidiaries plan and design turnkey solar power plants for institutional
and private investors at home and abroad. The company increasingly
implements modules in innovative thin-film technology, which allow a higher
return with larger solar plants. The company is listed in the Prime
Standard of the German Stock Exchange.
