Geratherm Medical AG achieves hitherto highest group result
· Turnover EUR 8.6 million + 5%
· EAT EUR 1.9 million + 29%
· Earnings per Share 42 cents (previous year: 33 cents)
· Proposed Dividend 40 cents (previous year: 32 cents)
Geschwenda, 7 March 2007- According to the preliminary results, Geratherm
Medical has recorded its hitherto best business year. The group result was
increased from the good level of the previous year by 28.7 % to reach kEUR
1,903 (p.y.: kEUR 1,479). The operational result (EBIT) stands at kEUR 658
and thus 6.6 % higher than the previous year, even though the investments
in setting up new business fields still burden the EBIT result with kEUR
269. The financial result increased significantly by +61.8 % to reach EUR
1.3 million (p.y.: EUR 0.8 million). Altogether, a group result (EAT) of
EUR 1.9 million (p.y.: EUR 1.5 million) was achieved. Taking the dividend
increase proposed from 32 cents to 40 cents, which is to be paid out, once
more, neutral to tax from the owner deposit account, this would mean a net
dividend yield of 7.4%, applying yesterday’s Xetra closing price of EUR
5.44. The equity capital in the amount of EUR 17.5 million corresponds with
an equity ratio of 92 % of the company’s balance sum. In 2007, activities
are to focus on setting up new business fields and extending the financial
investments in the health care sector.
The publication of the detailed business figures for the year 2006 is
scheduled for April 12, 2007.
