Silicon Sensor planning first-ever dividend payout

March 15, 2007

For the first time in the company's history, the supervisory and executive
boards of Silicon Sensor International AG will recommend to the general
meeting for the business year 2006 a payout to shareholders of Euro 0.10
per share.

The decision was made in view of excellent results reported for the 2006
business year and continuing corporate growth. Final statistics for 2006,
which show even better performance than the provisional figures published
on Feb. 13, will be released on March 28, 2007.
