Frankfurt/Main, March 28, 2007. Amadeus FiRe AG confirms the preliminary
figures for the fiscal year ended at December 31, 2006.
Group sales amount to EUR 69,5 million, an increase of 33,8 per cent.
All divisions showed sales increases and contributed to the positive
development whereas the development in the temporary staffing area was
outstanding with an increase of 48 per cent.
Gross profit margin rose by 200 basis points to 41,2 per cent after 39,2
per cent in prior year.
The sales and administrative expenses rose by 18,7 per cent.
The operative group result (EBITA) amounted to EUR 8,7 Mio. (comparable
prior year: EUR 3,5 Mio.). Due to increased sales in all business areas
and the higher gross profit margin the prior year’s result was exceeded
by 151 per cent.
EBITA margin was 12,5 per cent (prior year: 6,7 per cent).
The fiscal year 2006 closed with a consolidated net profit after minority
interests of EUR 3,5 million, after EUR 1,9 million in prior year. In the
reporting period the goodwill were impaired by EUR 1,3 million due to
performed impairment tests.
Due to the sustained good business Management and Supervisory Board will
propose to distribute a dividend of Euro 0,88 per share at the annual
general meeting on May 24, 2007. This means a triplication of last year’s
dividend.
