On February 28, 2007, cominvest Asset Management GmbH, Frankfurt/Main,
Deutschland, has informed us according to § 21, section 1 WpHG in
connection with § 32 section 2 InvG that via shares its voting rights on
AIXTRON AG, Aachen, Deutschland, ISIN: DE 0005066203, WKN: 506620, have
exceeded the 3% limit of the voting rights on February 26, 2007, and now
amount to 3.01 % (this corresponds to 2703788 voting rights). Acc. to § 22
section 1 sentence 1 No. 6 WpHG 2.58% (this corresponds to 2317122 voting
rights) have to be added to cominvest Asset Management GmbH,
Frankfurt/Main, Deutschland.
