With letter dated April 20, 2007, Fidelity International, Surrey KT20 6RB,
Great Britain, has informed us according to article 21, section 1 WpHG that
the shareholding of FMR Corp., Boston, Massachusetts 02109, USA, on MTU
Aero Engines Holding AG, Munich, Germany, ISIN: DE000A0D9PT0, WKN: A0D9PT
have fallen below the 5 % limit of the voting rights on April 18, 2007 and
now amount to 4,15% (this corresponds to 2280050 voting rights). According
to article 22, section 1, sentence 1 no. 6 WpHG in conjunction with article
22, section 1, sentence 2 WpHG the voting rights are to be attributed to
the FMR Corp.
